Beware!

"It's too darn hot, it's too darn hot!"

That's the only part of the song I know (from Kiss Me, Kate, I believe), and boy does it fit this week. Yesterday we hit 100 degrees, with a heat index of 107! That is normal for July or August, but this is still June! So nearly every morning this week, I've been lounging by the pool while the kids play.

Kiddie pool, that is: They love it and they have been playing all kinds of games centered around the pool. And remember how I told you yesterday that they got squirt guns for reading books at the library? Well, if you come to our house, beware! They are armed and dangerous.

And they leave cute little tracks like this everywhere!
