Fourth of July 2015

Okay, so I am 3 months behind, but better late than never, right?

Stopping for a slushy break while shopping for fireworks.

Anthony was allowed to shoot off firecrackers for the first time!

He did not blow anything or anyone up.

Waiting for Daddy to shoot off a parachute.
Joseph got one!

Time for snakes.

On the actual 4th, the boys helped Daddy put up the flag.

The kids and the flag.

More firecrackers.  Guess who got to unravel all those things?

Our dog, Biscuit, was not afraid of fireworks, except for the loudest ones.

Daddy lit the lantern.

There it goes!

Another great 4th of July celebration.

Fourth of July Fun

Anne with the flag.

Everyone but Anthony got to shoot off firecrackers this year.

Making surprise packets.

Roasted on the grill, we have carrots, beets, onions, turnips, potatoes, and green beans from the garden.

Yummy!

Dominic riding like a clown in the circus:

Daddy was ready to shoot off a parachute.

Anthony got one!

Fourth of July Fun

Anthony loved stomping on snappers.

Dominic got to light some firecrackers.

Run away!

Everybody run!

Ready to race for the parachute.

Anthony got one!

Dancing in the smoke bomb smoke.  Stinky kids!

Resting between fireworks.

The only "normal" pic of all the kids I could get.

Joseph was asking about 4th of July for months.

Anne and Anthony.

Watching the snake grow.

Ready, set, go!

A Fun Fourth

This post is really late, but hey, at least it is still July!
The four big kids were ready for some fireworks!

Posing in front of the fireworks stash on the tailgate.

Smoke bombs!

Happy kids.
They were waiting for...

...parachutes!

They got all the chairs set up just so.  Anthony was trying to stomp on a snapper.

Ready for some more fireworks, Daddy!

Dominic takes a lot of funny pictures.

Here's another funny face.

The oldest and the youngest - so sweet!

Our 4th Of July

The evening of the Fourth of July we were back at our house, and the kids were very excited to watch Daddy shoot off some fireworks.

Dominic and Anthony sporting their red, white, and blue.

Yikes, look at that one!

In between explosions, the kids paused to look at Mommy with a smile.

Daddy had sprayed down the cement to cool things off a little and from then on, Anthony was obsessed with the hose.  Especially since he could make the water come out!
