Our First Harvest Of 2011

Yesterday we ate our first produce out of the garden: steamed asparagus!  I did not take a picture, but it was delicious.  All the kids liked it and wanted more.

I'm patiently waiting to start planting. I was going to start this week, but we had tornadic storms last night and now tomorrow morning is expected to get to freezing. So next week is the week.

Ooh, yikes, we have not had more than a tornado watch as of yet.

If it wasn't for my husband, we would probably not have a garden at all. Okay, definitely not. :)

Yes, that was a wonderful honeymoon gift! We used to joke that he slipped in an extra fertility blessing, as our first child was conceived on our honeymoon and then the twins were born when she was 20 months old. :)
