In early September, we had some torrential rains (5 inches in 24 hours, some areas close to us had 10 inches in 24 hours!) and the next day after it cleared we got to see this:
One advantage to being out in the country is that we could see the whole entire rainbow, in fact it was a double rainbow. Dan couldn't get back far enough to get the whole thing in the picture. The kids thought it was pretty neat. And it was!
Then the puddles all over the yard beckoned to the kids and who could refuse?
We have gotten to see many lovely sunsets
