If Only It Were Real!

Yesterday afternoon while I was sitting at the computer, the kids were playing nearby. I heard Anne making some funny noises and pretty soon she came over to me and said, holding out a cup and saucer, "Mommy, I made you a cappucino!" I "drank" it all and asked for more. Do we have some high-falutin' kids or what?

Excellent!

I wonder if this has to do with Dan giving the kids frothed, sweetened milk to drink like the adults.

We hosted an Archdiocesan meeting at our school and I brought out the espresso machine to provide the ultimate hospitality for the coffee break. I even made cappucinos (or rather cappucini) for the teachers the next two days of school. Happy Catholic Schools Week! I even made half servings (only one shot of espresso) for about 8 students after school. The oldest made 4 three-pointers soon after in his basketball game and the youngest (1st grade) is probably hooked.

The Brungardts will have to visit sometime for cappucino. Although after reading about children spitting up food, maybe I should do it at your house.

I enjoyed catching up.

Hi Fr. Brian!

They are going to want you to bring your espresso machine to all the basketball games now!

We were talking about splurging for a new espresso machine (not as fancy as yours!) when I discovered directions on the side of ours to clean out the frothing nozzles with a needle. Now it is as good as new. The bridal shower gift lives on!

Come visit anytime. You and Dan can do dueling cappucino contests.
