Joseph Balthaser Brungardt, Dan's father, died on this day 5 years ago, after a battle with leukemia. Our little Joseph was named after him as they share the same birthday, May 23. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
