The baby always seems to know just when Mom is dropping off to sleep and emits a loud cry, causing Mom to start up with pounding heart.

Kate Wicker said...: Oh geez. This absolutely drives me crazy. If I go to bed early, the baby wakes up early. If I stay up late, she just keeps on snoozing right up until the point I'm about to drift off to Slumberland. It kills me. Actually, I like to think it sanctifies me.
