This One Made Me Proud

 
Yesterday, the kids and I stopped at Walgreen's to get a few things.  At the checkout, the cashier started talking to the kids and asking them questions, things like, "Are you the big brother/sister?" 

Then she asked Catherine, the oldest:  "Do you know that you are special?"

Catherine: "Yes."

Cashier:  "Do you know why you are special?"

Catherine:  "Yes, because I am made in the image of God!"

The cashier was a little taken aback, but she said:  "Oh, yes, that's a good reason, but do you know that there is only one of you in the whole world?"

I liked Catherine's answer better!

They are learning something around here.
